Learn about the edible plants found in our countryside and parks. Spring is when wildflowers are blooming and wild greens are ripe for picking.
This class will be led by Joseph Nolan, a fully qualified herbalist. During the class we will concentrate on around 10 – 20 wild plants with the aim of learning:

1. How to identify these common plants.
2. How can they be used for cooking, what flavour(s) do they add to your cooking.
3. Medicinal properties of the herbs / plants identified.

May is a great time to start learning field skills necessary to incorporate some wild foraged foods Into your life. If you’re eager to deepen your knowledge of plants, I’d encourage you to sign up for this class.
Lets meet at the entrance to the Scottish Parliament building @ 10.45 a.m. for an 11.00 a.m. start.
