Plant Based Cooking Classes – Glasgow

This event will be held on Saturday 30th September at The Old Yoga Barn, Dumbreck Stables, 82 Dumbreck Road, Glasgow. G41 4SN.

We will be hosting a number of Plant Based Cooking Classes. It costs just £10 to attend on the day.

The activities on the day will include the following Plant Based Cooking Classes:

10.00 am – 11.00 am
An Introduction to Ayurveda
Explore the principles of Ayurveda, often considered the sister science to yoga. It offers a template for holistic diet and lifestyle practices to balance your body and mind. We will discuss the importance of eating seasonally and you will learn how to create an Ayurvedic style breakfast for autumn and get to savour a cup of warming oat milk chai.

11.10 a.m. – 12.10 a.m.
How to make Healthy Breakfast (or anytime) Energy Bars.

1.00pm – 3.00pm
Inside the Ayurvedic Kitchen
Learn how to stock your Ayurvedic pantry and create your own kitchen rituals at home. You will cook some staple Ayurvedic dishes for autumn that will balance your body through the seasonal transition into the colder months.

3.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.
Sweet Treats – Lets make Macaroon Bars
Learn how to make these simple delicious Vegan Macaroon bars.

4.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Learn to make Lemon ‘Cheesecake’
Learn how to make delicious lemon ‘cheesecake’. This easy to prepare dish is simple, healthy and an excellent sweet treat. Note: This dish is suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.
